| With the rapid development of Artificial Intelligence(AI)technology,the gradual evolution of AI has produced creative achievements.AI painting is one of the types of AI creation and generation.It changes the production mode of traditional painting,lowers the threshold of painting creation,and produces a large number of works in a short time.However,it causes competitive pressure on the art audience,resulting in disputes over copyright ownership and the value of works.To further understand the acceptance status of AI painting works and the motivation behind the controversial points,the author explores the influencing factors of the art audience’s acceptance of AI painting works.An in-depth understanding of the real evaluation of AI painting works by professional art audiences,and analysis of the key influencing factors of willingness to accept AI painting works can provide effective suggestions for the production and dissemination of image content under the influence of AI painting,as well as the development of news,art,and other industries.The study used qualitative interviews and questionnaire surveys to achieve the above research objectives.First,the author interviewed 22 art professionals to collect their intuitive feelings,and cognitive attitudes toward AI painting and its generated works.The interview content was coded,and six factors influencing the willingness to accept AI painting works were summarized.These factors are perceived quality,perceived cost,perceived risk,perceived value,social influence,media barriers,and technology anxiety.Secondly,the author proposed the research hypotheses.A questionnaire was developed based on the variables extracted from the interviews and combined with theoretical models such as perceived value,behavioral intention,and innovation resistance.Three hundred twenty-four valid questionnaires were collected,and structural equation modeling was used to analyze the data.The hypothesis test results and the impact and interrelationships of the six factors on the willingness to accept AI painting works were obtained.It was found that perceived quality,perceived value,and social influence significantly and positively influence the willingness to accept AI painting works,while perceived risk,media barriers,and technology anxiety significantly and negatively influence the willingness to accept AI painting works.Perceived quality and perceived cost significantly influence perceived value,and social influence significantly and negatively influences media barriers.Perceived value mediates between perceived quality,perceived cost,and willingness to accept,while media barriers mediate between social influence and willingness to accept.T The study found that although AI painting works have the actual benefit advantage of reducing cost and increasing efficiency,the art audience’s acceptance of AI painting works will still suffer from learning costs,infringement risk,technical anxiety,and conflict with traditional cognition.Based on the above empirical research results,the following suggestions are put forward:From a perception perspective,the author proposes to encourage relevant departments to provide more support for the development of AI painting,improve relevant laws and regulations to reduce risk perception;Promote the platforms to accelerate technological research and development,improve work differentiation and overall quality perception and other specific suggestions.From a social environment and technological cognition perspective,it is proposed to strengthen objective media communication and in-depth technological popularization,further enhance the professional cognition of AI painting works,improve talent training and platform construction in the AI painting industry,and other specific suggestions to enhance practical significance of the study. |
