It is important to systematically analyse the errors of second language learners.Focusing only on semantic or grammatical teaching cannot fundamentally solve the problem of international students’ errors. This paper takes the "Three Planes Theory" as the theoretical basis, based on the actual situation of Chinese grammar, and combines the "Three Planes Theory" with the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language to propose targeted countermeasures.Based on the "Three Planes Theory",we first analyse the three planes statically, distinguishing the similarities and differences in the basic meanings of words, the interchangeability of the two words in terms of their meanings, the distribution of the two words in the sentence, the flexibility of syntactic position(at the beginning of the sentence,in the middle of the sentence,at the end of the sentence, and whether they can form separate sentences)and the syntactic collocation.Understanding the meaning and usage of the words ’indeed’ and ’real’ in different domains. The analysis of the context in which the words occur is integrated into the dynamic analysis, and we can also explore their commonalities and features by identifying the context in which they are used and analysing the semantic colours and stylistic differences.A systematic comparative analysis of "indeed, really" at three levels: semantic definition, syntactic distribution and function, provides an intuitive understanding of combination, semantics, usage and articulation.Secondly,by searching the HSK dynamic composition corpus for "indeed" and "really" biases, many common biases were found, and the corpus was analysed to systematically explore the various biases that may occur in the learning process of international students. The types of errors in "indeed" and "really" were categorised and counted, and summarised. After statistical analysis, different types of biases appear in the use of international students, which can be categorized into four types: omission, wrong order, wrong addition and wrong substitution, and some invisible biases are easily overlooked in daily teaching. The article mainly explores the causes of different types of biases from three aspects: the lack of profound semantic features of international students, inaccurate syntactic analysis and unclear pragmatic functions. Finally, the article proposes suggestions based on the "three planes theory" in terms of teaching materials, teachers and teaching.Teachers should combine the "Three Planes Theory" with teaching, focus on semantic teaching, syntactic analysis and contextualization, deepen ontological research, update lesson plans and teaching methods, analyze the nature of grammatical errors, focus on comparative teaching, and teach in stages. The textbook should be clear and close to life in order to achieve the best learning effect.
