| Cultivating practical ability is an indispensable and important part of creating applied talents.The level of practical ability directly determines the cultivation quality of M.A.in Chinese International Education(applied talents).At present,the majority of M.A.in Chinese International Education have insufficient practical ability to meet the employment demand.This phenomenon in turn weakens students’ enthusiasm to apply for master’s degree in Chinese international education,which is not conducive to the long-term development of international Chinese education.Facing ASEAN,colleges and universities in Guangxi can take advantage of their own location to develop and strengthen the regionalized international Chinese education career.This paper uses the literature analysis method to categorize and analyze the relevant research literature from three aspects: the current situation of research on the cultivation of practical ability of undergraduate Chinese international education,the current situation of research on the cultivation of practical ability of master’s degree in Chinese international education and the current situation of research on the cultivation of practical ability of Chinese international education professionals in universities facing ASEAN.The comparative categorization method was used to compare and analyze the similarities and differences in the cultivation of practical ability of master’s degree in Chinese international education in four universities in Guangxi.Using questionnaire survey method and individual interview method,we collected the employment and school practical ability cultivation of M.A.in Chinese International Education graduates from four colleges and universities in Guangxi,conducted in-depth interviews with graduates from different employment fields,and summarized the general characteristics of practical ability of M.A.in Chinese International Education graduates from these four colleges and universities.The article contains six main sections.The introductory section introduces the background of the selected topic,the significance of the study,a review of the research,and the research methodology.The first chapter is an overview of practical competence.The second chapter collects the situation of professional setting of Master’s degree in Chinese international education in Guangxi colleges and universities,the situation of practical ability curriculum setting and practical education activities.Among them,the setting situation of master’s degree in Chinese international education in Guangxi universities is introduced from the perspective of geographical location and enrollment history.The setting of practical ability courses is introduced from the same points and different points of practical ability courses.Among them,the situation of practical education activities is introduced from two perspectives,such as teaching type practical education activities and non-teaching type practical education activities.Chapter 3 summarizes the general characteristics of the practical ability cultivation of the graduates of Master of Chinese International Education in Guangxi universities with the help of questionnaire results and interview results: the achievements such as abundant number of international students studying and practicing in the same classroom,unique advantage of cross-border language and culture in ASEAN region and many foreign practice bases,but there are also achievements such as relatively single form of practice,lack of supervision mechanism,narrower cultivation path,less precise cultivation orientation,more solidified cultivation program and more teachers.However,there are also shortcomings such as single form of practice,lack of supervision mechanism,narrow cultivation path,imprecise cultivation orientation,solidified cultivation program and lack of practical experience of teachers.The fourth chapter puts forward some suggestions for the cultivation of practical ability of graduates with master’s degree in Chinese international education in Guangxi colleges and universities: the training colleges and universities should enrich the form of practice,strengthen the supervision mechanism,broaden the cultivation path,precise cultivation orientation,discuss the cultivation program,and enrich the experience of teachers;students should make a clear personal plan,improve their comprehensive ability,summarize their practical experience,and break the fixed employment thinking.The conclusions drawn from the analysis and summarization of previous studies,questionnaire surveys and individual interviews aim to assist universities to clarify how to further cultivate the practical ability of M.A.in Chinese International Education and improve the job adaptability of graduates of this major.In view of the exchange and cooperation relationship between China and ASEAN,the linguistic and cultural foundation for mutual exchange and cooperation can be laid,and the demand for various high-level Chinese talents in ASEAN regional countries can be met. |
