Analysis Of Semantic Disambiguation In Financial Trial Text

With the continuous development of China’s economy,number of cases in the financial field is also rising.And great difficulties of this translation result from financially legal terms as an important part and the basis of legal translation related to finance.There is still much to be researched on the translation of ambiguous financially legal terms.However,in certain fields and certain collocations,there are a lot of ambiguous words which may cause huge semantic deviation.And how to avoid mistranslation of ambiguous terms becomes a problem.That’s why this thesis selects the financial trial text of Shanghai High People’s court for research,identifies the style of the text,extracts terms via Antconc 3.4.3 and adjusts the sentence structure and collocations.It’s hoped to provide a reference for the determination of legal terms translation in the financial field,or eliminating ambiguity of ambiguous terms...
