Language is a social and cultural phenomenon.Language and culture interact,and not only can they understand the social culture through language,but they can also reflect that culture in any language.The name of the restaurant was chosen because the demand of consumers is increasing as living standards improve.In recent years,our country has entered a period of great development.There is a growing interest in research into the food industry,especially the language of restaurant names.Therefore,this research has important theoretical and practical significance.In this paper,the names of 811 restaurants in Yanji are investigated mainly from a linguistic point of view.Yanbian is the largest concentration area of ethnic Koreans in China,and the restaurant name of Yanji reflects the city’s unique culture and language usage,reflecting the characteristics of the city,and has historical and cultural values and times.Language is one of the most basic and important roles of culture and has the power to promote social and cultural direction.Also,the name of the restaurant is highly promotional because it represents the main message the restaurant sends to the public.Also,popularity wants the public to easily recognize the message they are trying to convey.The name of the restaurant represents a well-known language system in the language community to promote the subject matter of the store’s products and industry.In this article,general names,business names,and proper names of restaurants were discussed in several aspects,including voice,meaning,grammar,and language.This paper is divided into five parts:The first part introduces the research purpose and research significance of the paper,and introduces the research results of linguistic research on the name of the store.Subjects and methods of research.The second part linguistic analysis of restaurants in Yanji.This chapter describes data collection classifications,structural division criteria for restaurant names,and distribution,generally,generators’ formulas and configuration analysis of common names.Through these various common names,we can see that common names reflect people’s diverse values,and they are continuing their traditional common names but are also receiving new common names.arise and develop.The third part is the linguistic interpretation of the business name of the restaurant.We will examine the name of business from three perspective: vocabulary,Comparative analysis angle,syntax and other voice.Restaurants in Yan Ji reflect business conditions,cooking methods,cooking utensils,ingredients and types of dishes by industry.As for the characteristics of the distribution in voice,the two syllables are overwhelming.The name of the business can be said to be a label for the restaurant,but it shows the characteristics of the business and reflects the service information of the restaurant.The fourth part is the linguistic interpretation of restaurant proper names in Yanji.In this chapter,we examine the use of language for unique names in four parts:vocabulary,speech,grammar,and meaning.Brand names that analyze the distribution of unique names in restaurants by syllable,grammatically,and semantic.This is the most important part of the naming process for patent companies.The fifth part is the concluding sentence,which is mainly a wake-up summary of the research results and is expected to serve as a reference for future research on restaurant names.
