Henan Qu Opera is a unique opera music in Henan Province,it is the second largest opera genre in Henan Province and a popular culture loved by the people of Henan,such an excellent folk art and culture is gradually declining with the passage of time,therefore the author’s writing focuses on the inheritance and development of Henan Qu Opera music.This paper differs from previous studies of Henan opera in that they focus mostly on the characteristics of a particular type of singing or the history of the opera:firstly,the author believes that in order to pass on a good heritage,one must inherit it,inherit the classics,talk about inheritance and development on the basis of inheritance,and keep the righteousness is the hard truth.Therefore the study of the historical tracing and artistic characteristics of Henan opera itself is also particularly important.The author’s first chapter therefore begins with an exploration of the historical origins of the art of Henan opera,from the Ming and Qing dynasties to the founding of the country,and provides a detailed analysis of the development of Henan opera,focusing on the new content developed at each point in time.The second chapter analyses the artistic characteristics of Henan opera.The author analyses the artistic characteristics of the music of Henan opera in detail from six aspects,so that we can understand what Henan opera is and where the characteristics of Henan opera lie.This chapter provides a deeper understanding of the cultural value of Henan opera music,a further understanding and reflection on the profoundness of Henan opera culture,and a new way of thinking for the study of Henan opera music.In the third chapter,the author conducts field surveys and interviews with the troupe and the inheritors,and unfolds the analysis of what he saw and heard during the field surveys,as well as the observations and records of the performances and the interviews with the performers,and collates the videos,pictures,recordings and interview data from his field period to discover and summarise the problems encountered in the inheritance and development of Henan opera at the present stage,thus triggering the author’s This has led the author to think deeply about the inheritance and development of music in Henan opera.The author summarises the problems encountered in the inheritance of Henan opera music,such as the cultivation of personnel,blind innovation and insufficient protection,and proposes some personal ideas and strategies based on these problems in Chapter 4.
