Ma Yuan Landscape Painting "Scenery From The Corners" And Its Enlightenment To The Series Of Works Of "Barren Garden"

Ma Yuan was one of the representative painters in the southern song Dynasty.The style of corner composition in Ma Yuan’s paintings is applied to the extreme in the field of landscape painting,Having a unique style,later known as the ‘Ma corner’.As a court painter to the Guang emperors and Ning emperors of the Southern Song Dynasty.Ma Yuan’s paintings are very favored and respected by the southern Song nobles,His painting style was regarded as a model leading the trend of court painting in the Southern Song Dynasty.Ma Yuan is an all-round painter with comprehensive cultural,accomplishment and superb painting skills.The existing paintings have landscapes,figures,flowers and birds and other themes.Ma Yuan’s achievements in landscape painting are particularly outstanding,Corner composition became one of the important forms of landscape painting composition,It was praised highly by later painters.This paper takes Ma Yuan’s “Scenery from corner” as the breakthrough point to study Ma Yuan’s painting.Through the specific interpretation of Ma Yuan’s<Landscape Painting Collection>,This paper combs and studies Ma Yuan ‘s painting style and the spiritual connotation expressed in his works,to guide my study and creation of Chinese painting.The first chapter describes the significance of the topic selection,the current research status at home and abroad related to this paper,and the research methods and innovations of the paper.In the second chapter,the word "frontier" defines and sorts out many reasons for the formation of Ma Yuan’s painting style.The third chapter analyzes the form of the composition of the poem and painting,and the culture conveyed by the poetry and painting.The fourth chapter summarizes the specific influence of Ma Yuan’s landscape painting "frontier" in the process of my graduation creation series.The fifth chapter records the drawing process of the Wild Garden series and my thinking on the current learning and creation of Chinese painting.
