| Spinoza is well known in the field of contemporary philosophy, and his achievements and influence in this field are beyond doubt.Spinoza’s sociology, philosophy and epistemology, especially his philosophy of religious belief and theology, have always been the focus of controversy. In the past study of Spinoza’s theology, although the pantheism in Spinoza’s philosophy has attracted much attention, the interpretation of Spinoza’s pantheism is still relatively little. In terms of the historical origin of thought, under the joint influence of Bruno and Descartes philosophy,Spinoza gradually moved towards pantheism in theology, making pantheism more meticulous and rigorous in theory and more extensive in influence. The biggest difference between Spinoza and the pantheists in the past lies in that he not only established the internalized relationship between god and nature, but also carried out the principle of necessity. His pantheistic thoughts had a very important influence on later generations,Goethe being one of them,Philosophically,Goethe is worshipped nature and studied science so assiduously that he regarded nature itself as a god, somewhat with a taste of naive materialism. So this paper tries to study the influence of Spinoza pantheism on Goethe, including the influence on Goethe’s thought and creation. The formation of the first chapter from Spinoza pantheism and the main content, pay attention to naturalistic pantheism Bruno, the universe, god and nature,Descartes insisted that own entity monism,Spinoza, under the influence of the two, further criticized and inherited their theory, formed its own ideas of pantheism.Pantheism mainly includes two basic propositions: “God or nature” and “god or entity”.The second chapter studies Spinoza pantheism to Goethe thought influence, tells the story of Goethe deism and Spinoza pantheism and the relation between Goethe through what mentioned in pantheism thought,Spinoza’s pantheism a important proposition is “god or nature,” and Goethe also think of nature itself is “god”,the link is very tight. The third chapter studies Spinoza pantheism of Goethe’s creation, the impact of Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe,“Faust” and“Prometheus” is more important work,Goethe mentioned many times in this two works, god and nature relationship,he believes that the universe, including man,of course, are filled with the divine, but does not recognize a particular, dominate everything god,It can be seen that Goethe has a complex cosmological and religious outlook based on pantheism. The last part of the conclusion of Spinoza pantheism on Goethe’s thought and creation of what kind of value and significance. On the one hand,Spinoza pantheism brought enlightenment to Goethe’s thought.Goethe gradually uncovered the fog in his heart through his understanding of Spinoza; On the other hand,Spinoza pantheism provides a new perspective for Goethe’s creation. |
