| "Introduction" is the opening part of the dissertation,which guides the reviewers to read and understand the whole dissertation,which is characterized by generalization and simplicity.A good introduction helps readers form an overall understanding of the content of the paper.Using the genre analysis method,combined with the structural model,this paper analyzes 98 graduation thesis of the undergraduates majoring in business Chinese in the Chinese Department of the Chinese Language and Culture College of Jinan University.The article draws the following conclusions: 1.Structure: The structure of the "Introduction" of undergraduate graduation thesis of international students is generally complete,and there are only a few missing sections.2.Content: The content writing of each section has its own characteristics.The writing of "research background" mostly puts forward the necessity of researching business issues from the current social and economic background;"research purpose/significance" mostly hopes to promote the development of related products and fields through research;"research content" is mostly related to "research purpose/significance" ” or “research method” combination,the content revolves around economic activities and has the characteristics of business and trade;in terms of “research method”,students often use “multiple parallels”,among which “questionnaire survey method” and“comparative argument method” are mostly used;The writing of "Literature Review" is insufficient in terms of literature quality and achievement summary.3.Language expression: The words used basically have the characteristics of written language,and each section can be expressed in common formats.There are fewer common words and grammatical errors.However,there are problems such as confusion of language logic and poor language expression.According to the problems existing in the introduction of international students’ graduation thesis,the author puts forward targeted suggestions such as strengthening theoretical foundation research,increasing classroom writing training,and designing appropriate teaching methods,hoping to help international students to better complete thesis writing,while enhancing teachers’ ability in thesis writing.The focus of the writing guidance link,in order to improve the overall quality of the introduction writing. |
