| In November 2016,the Ministry of Education and 11 other departments jointly issued the "Opinions on Promoting the travel of primary and secondary schools and colleges",which proposed the comprehensive implementation of the travel of colleges and universities in China.Currently,the travel of colleges and universities in China is in the initial stage of exploration and has encountered some difficulties.Learning from foreign experience can accelerate its development.On July 24,2021,the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and The General Office of the State Council issued the Opinions on Further Reducing the Homework Burden and Off-campus Training Burden of Students in Compulsory Education,proposing to effectively reduce the excessive homework burden and off-campus training burden of students in compulsory education(hereinafter referred to as "double reduction"),vigorously improve the quality of education and teaching,and ensure that students learn well in school.How to diversify the school education under the policy of "double reduction" has become an urgent problem.In Japan,school trip is an important part of special activities in school education,which is an increasing part of outside school,and has formed a complete mechanism for promoting the healthy development of school trip.Besides,Japan and our country have similar educational culture,therefore,the author focuses on the Japanese school trip,by analyzing the development process of Japanese school trip,Summarize the development periods and stages of study Tours in Japan;By exploring the regional characteristics of study Tours in Japan,this paper analyzes the causes of regional characteristics of study Tours in Japan and the origin characteristics of study Tours in various places in Japan from the perspective of geography.By exploring the development mode of Japanese school travel,we find out the characteristics and organizational mode of Japanese school travel,which provides a reference for the development of Chinese school travel.This paper analyzes the development characteristics of study Tours in Japan in the post-epidemic era,and provides enlightenment for the development of study Tours in China in the post-epidemic era.This paper finds that:(1)Japanese study Tours sprouted in the early Meiji period and stagnated after the collapse of Japanese education in World War II.After the war,they recovered with the recovery of Japanese education,and gradually improved and updated under the support of correct guiding ideology and relevant institutions.(2)The destinations for Japanese overseas study trips are mainly located along the Pacific coast.In recent years,Taiwan of China has become the most popular place for study trips.The popular destinations for Japanese middle and high school study trips are mainly located in the central and southern parts of Japan,among which Kyoto is the most popular place for middle school trips and Okinawa is the most popular place for high school trips.(3)The geographical distribution of the study tourists is uneven among different regions.The middle school study tourists in Hokkaido are mainly from the northern region of Japan and the southwest Pacific city,while the high school study tourists are mainly from the southern region of Japan;Middle school tourists in Tohoku are mainly from Hokkaido and cities on the Pacific side of the southwest,while high school tourists are mainly from southern Japan.The Kanto secondary school tourists mainly come from the north of the Seto Inland Sea,and the high school tourists mainly come from Japan’s Hokkaido and the areas around and south of the Seto Inland Sea.Middle and high school tourists mainly come from the central and southern parts of Japan and the local region;Kinki local secondary school students mainly come from the central and southern parts of Japan,and high school students mainly come from the northern parts of Japan.The middle school students in China are mainly from the central and southwest parts of Japan,while the high school students are mainly from the northern parts of Japan.The number of study trips in Shikoku is small,among which the middle and high school study trips in Shikoku are mainly from the central region of Japan;Secondary school tourists in Kyushu are mainly from the central and southern parts of Japan,while high school tourists are mainly from the central parts of Japan.(4)The connection between the origin and destination of domestic study trips is common,and the connection between junior middle school study trips is common,showing a core-edge pattern as a whole;The degree of study travel contact decreases and there is geographical proximity;The whole space forms "two poles" to drive the structure.High school study trip connection is common,the whole is scattered;There are geographical differences in the links of senior high school study trips.(5)The study trip in Japan has accumulated rich experience in practice,and has gradually established a sound development model led by the government,promoted by public welfare corporations,supervised by non-governmental associations,implemented by schools and supported by society.(6)Since the COVID-19 epidemic in 2019,the study trip in Japan had been suspended,and gradually resumed in 2021.The epidemic affected the study trip alternative activities emerged in an endless stream,and the school took multiple measures to prepare for the study trip.The cost of school travel in Japan surges in the post-COVID-19 era;Shortening the distance between origin and destination;Accelerated development of "digital" study Tours;Sustainable study Tours have been further developed. |
