| Dong Qichang is a highly representative calligraphy and painting giant since the middle of the Ming Dynasty.His calligraphy art inherits the charm of Jin Dynasty and inspires the style of "light" calligraphy.Dong Shi has always been committed to pursuing the artistic style of "simplicity" with the aim of "simplicity",which is also a symbol of his life.This article will focus on Dong Qichang’s calligraphy works and explore his "light" style of calligraphy.The first part sorts out the aesthetic connotation and process of "light" in Chinese culture,in order to obtain a common understanding and different understandings of "light" at various stages in the history of Chinese culture and art,gradually enriching the aesthetic connotation of "light".The second part discusses the source of "light" in Dong Qichang’s books from multiple factors,including his own experience in studying calligraphy,his social background at the time,Dong’s writing materials,and a comparison with contemporary calligraphers.The third part explores the subtle meaning of Dong Qichang’s calligraphy from three perspectives: ink technique,character technique,and chapter technique.The fourth part analyzes the acceptance of Dong Qichang’s "simple and simple" style of calligraphy in the Qing Dynasty literary world,revealing the flourishing of the "Songjiang School" linked by geographical factors.Later,due to the flow of southern "Dong Chong" calligraphers represented by Shen Quan and the promotion of Kangxi,the formation of northern "Dong Chong" calligraphers was promoted,and the acceptance path was promoted to the whole country.The fifth part summarizes the impact of Dong’s style of writing on the author’s own creation.By analyzing the external manifestations and internal aesthetic connotations of Dong’s "simple" calligraphy style,we can better understand the characteristics and laws of Dong Qichang’s calligraphy,and provide certain practical value for our own "learning from Dong" creation. |
