| Cultural embellishment of Xinjiang is an important part of the Party’s strategy of governing Xinjiang in the new era,and plays a role in solidifying the consciousness of the Chinese national community.Tang and Song poems are treasures in the traditional culture of the Chinese nation, with extraordinary cultural value and superb artistic charm, and are ideal materials for improving the cultural identity of ethnic minorities and promoting the development of culture in Xinjiang.Du Fu is one of the representative poets of the Tang Dynasty in China.Du Fu’s poems represent the peak level of China’s classical poetry art and realism tradition, and enjoy a high reputation at home and abroad. In the Uyghur version of Du Fu’s poems, the Selected Poems of the Tang Dynasty translated by Yassen Awazi has a special Du Fu article, and the translated version of Emin Aihimaiti’s Selected Poems of Du Fu has translated 46 poems of Du Fu,which is a representative work in the Uyghur version of Du Fu’s poems.Influenced by the translator’s cultural background, translation style, ancient poetry appreciation ability and other individual factors, there may be obvious differences between different Uyghur versions of Du Fu’s poems, which directly affect the reader’s appreciation experience. Therefore, based on the means of corpus, this paper selects the two Uyghur versions of Du Fu’s Selected Poems of Tang Dynasty and Du Fu’s Poems for comparative analysis, and objectively explores the similarities and differences between the two Uyghur versions of Du Fu’s poems. This article uses literature research, corpus methods, statistical classification methods, and other research methods to select 14 poems of Du Fu,which are jointly covered by the two Uyghur versions of "Selected Poems of Tang Dynasty" and "Du Fu’s Poems",as Uyghur language corpus, and the corresponding Chinese Du Fu poems form a one-to-two parallel corpus, that is,one Chinese corpus of Du Fu’s poems corresponds to two Uyghur language corpora,in order to explore the differences between the two versions of Du Fu’s poems in Uyghur translation. The study found that Yassen Awazi’s translation was highly formal, with a relatively faithful translation of the original text of Du Fu’s poetry, explaining some words, words, and characters in the form of "literal translation",which also used translation methods such as morphology and word order exchange, emphasizing the beauty of form and rhyme. The translation of Yimin Aihemaiti tends to make the meaning of poetry clearer during translation, avoiding the use of difficult vocabulary, reflecting the translator’s subjectivity and creativity in translation, not rigidly adhering to the shackles of the original text, placing the original author in a relatively important position, emphasizing the accurate translation of the meaning of each word in the original text, and restoring as many allusions, historical events, etc.contained in the original text as possible.Based on the above research conclusions,in the process of translating Du Fu’s poems, the translation of Yimin Aihimaiti’s "Poems of Du Fu" does not adhere to the original format, exerts the translator’s subjectivity and creativity, emphasizes the poetic meaning contained in the original text, and enables the target readers to maximize their poetic appreciation experience similar to that of the original readers. The translated version of Du Fu’s Selected Poems of the Tang Dynasty by Yassen Awazi better reflects the characteristics of Du Fu’s original poetry in terms of musical and rhythmic beauty, and is a good supplementary reading book that can help readers better experience the formal and phonological beauty of Du Fu’s poetry. |
