Taking the Uygur folk song "Ana ’er Khan" as an example,this paper analyzes the style characteristics and singing skills of the Kashgar Uygur folk song in Xinjiang as the main content.Xinjiang is a region with a long history and numerous ethnic groups.It was also an important passage along the Silk Road since ancient times.It is a place where Eastern and Western civilizations meet.Many races and ethnic groups have created and inherited splendid cultures here.From the perspective of music,it brings together the world’s three major music systems,presenting a diverse landscape of music culture.Xinjiang Uygur folk songs have beautiful melodies and complex rhythms,presenting a diversified music and cultural landscape.The author was born in Kashgar,a Uygur inhabited area in southern Xinjiang,and has been familiar with Uygur music since childhood.Kashgar was called Shule in ancient times,where the famous Tang Dynasty grand melody "Shule Music" originated.It is also the main birthplace of Twelve Muqam,which has attracted worldwide attention.Taking the Uygur folk song "Ana ’ar Khan" in Kashgar as an example,the author focuses on analyzing the musical style and characteristics of the Uygur folk song in Kashgar,and makes a detailed analysis of the Uygur music style from the aspects of melody form,tonality,rhythm and language pronunciation.At the same time,combining with my own singing practice,A detailed analysis is made of the works’ smooth cavity,timbre,expression of emotion,use of breath and stage performance.Through literature research,field investigation and comparative analysis of different versions of the singing,the inheritance and development of Kashgar folk songs are further elaborated.
