In this thesis,the focus is on the study of Music Ethnographic Film in relation to the recording of the generation process of field facts and the writing(editing)during film presentation.Although the two processes are different,they are fundamental factors that ultimately constitute Musical Space.Through an overall analysis and thorough sorting of the works presented in the two sessions of the "Chinese Music Ethnographic Film Exhibition," this thesis selects three representative films of the types for specific research.In recording of the field facts,the composition of the film personnel and the relationship between the writer and the subject give rise to different film text types.In writing during film presentation,the author employs different basic lenses,transition modes,and observation angles to create a unique documentary style of the film text.This thesis discusses the forming process of the aforementioned two aspects through the study of differences in various film types and the research in the production methods of Music Ethnographic Film.The writer of this thesis believes that field recording is an objective dimension,while film writing is a subjective dimension.Although it’s inevitable to observe conflicts when conducting study from objective and subjective perspectives,it’s through the insistence on the principle of authenticity in Music Ethnographic Film documentary text and the approaching truth to the maximum extent that the documentary-style Music Ethnographic Film text will be built amidst the musical space under the isomorphism of by “field” and “film”.
