The Musical Characteristics And Singing Analysis Of Guangyuan Mountain Folk Songs

Guangyuan,located at the junction of Sichuan,Shaanxi and Gansu provinces,has a mountain folk song culture characterized by the blending of the Yellow River culture and Bashu culture.Guangyuan mountain folk songs are full of regional features,plain language,and diversity of forms which have unique artistic charm.They are not only high impassioned and excited in “Xintianyou” of Qinlong Highland,but also leisurely and elegant in “Qingyin”of Chengdu.This paper mainly takes the representative works of Guangyuan mountain folk songs "Gardenia Blossoms and White Petals" and "Moonlight Falls in the West" as an example,and combines my own learning process and actual singing experience to conduct in-depth analysis and research on the musical characteristics,singing methods and the music culture behind Guangyuan mountain folk songs,and expounds how to fully and accurately express the musical feelings of such works in vocal music singing,so as to better inherit and carry forward the culture of Guangyuan mountain folk songs,It also provides certain theoretical reference and basis for other singers,and makes a modest contribution to the promotion and development of Guangyuan mountain folk songs.
