| This thesis takes the five-act opera "Dream of the Forest" composed by Wang Shiguang as the research object,analyzes its artistic characteristics,and discusses its rehearsal techniques from the perspective of an opera coach.In particular,this thesis starts the discussion from background introduction,including the composer’s composing process,and the artistic uniqueness of this work,etc,and selects some representative operatic structures and musical segments,so as to further understand the composer’s intentions based on the analysis of this work.Through combining with the discussion of an opera coach’s rehearsal techniques,this thesis expounds the roles and required skills that an opera coach must have during the rehearsals and tries to provide reference and guidance for the preparation work of an opera coach. |
