| As the first song cycle composed by Gustav Mahler,Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen has high artistic value and promoted the development of German and Austrian art songs in the late Romantic period.The first chapter of this paper introduces Mahler’s life,historical background and the background of the composition of the work;the second chapter analyzes the musical structure and the meaning of the lyrics of the four songs;the third chapter analyzes the musical style of each piece,examines the relationship between piano and vocal music in this work,and analyzes the difficulties encountered in actual singing.It is hoped that this will provide a glimpse into Mahler’s inner world and provide theoretical information and basis to help more vocal learners understand and study this excellent work. |
