A Study On The Style Characteristics And Singing Of Early Art Songs Of Debussy’s Impressionism

Achille Claude Debussy(1862-1918)is the founder of French impressionism.He created the Impressionist music school with his unique music and vocabulary.Among them,his art song for the French art song to open an innovative page.Ariettes oubliees is one of Debussy’s earliest works,written between 1885 and 1887.This period was the turning point of Debussy’s creation.He began to get rid of the traditional harmony and create more unique works.Impressionism style began to emerge.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter Outlines impressionist music and introduces Debussy and his creation of impressionist art songs.The second chapter introduces the creation background,author and specific analysis of Ariettes oubliées.The third chapter introduces the music background of Debussy in the creation of the Ariettes oubliées" and the music analysis of the Ariettes oubliées".The fourth chapter explores the singing of Ariettes oubliees.The author hopes that the research of this paper can have a further understanding and insight of Debussy’s art songs,which is helpful to the singing interpretation of the works.
