Analysis And Research On The Creation Of Group Dance Works In 2020 HHI China Finals

Competition is a good test of hip-hop dance works,through the study of competition,we can better understand the strengths and weaknesses of hip-hop projects,and insight into its development trend.The HHI World Hip-hop Dance Championship is an international hip-hop dance competition focusing on group dance events.It is one of the most popular competitions with the largest number of participants and the most influential competitions in the world,with authority and influence.This study analyzed and studied the creation and editing of small group dance works of the top six participating teams in the HHI World Hip-hop Dance Championship in China,aiming to provide ideas for improving the quality and innovation of the choreography,so as to improve the creation and editing level of hip-hop dance small group dance works.In this paper,literature,expert interview,video analysis and mathematical statistics are used as research methods,and the works of the top six small group dance teams in the final of the HHI World Hip-hop Dance Championship in China in 2020 are taken as research and analysis objects.According to the scoring rules of the competition,the author analyzed and studied the creative factors such as movement creativity,music editing,formation and spatial level editing,costume style and dance style.The following conclusions were drawn:1.Movement creativity: Each team has its own creative design of dance works,showing the unique characteristics and professionalism of each team.On the basis of retaining the original style of hip-hop dance,various changes have been made,but the creative richness is insufficient.2.Music selection: The music selected by each team has a fast rhythm,obvious drum beat,outstanding melody style,a wide variety of music,and a high degree of matching between music and dance style.In the connection of music editing,multi-music editing presents the characteristics of distinct stylistic contrast before and after songs,but the editing techniques are too simple,most of them are just simple synthesis.3.Stage space and formation: with clear layers and diverse contrasts,the use of fluid formation can bring rich dynamic visual changes to small group dance works,thus enhancing the overall aesthetics.Through the combination of hierarchical changes and contrasting movements,it can not only better show the diversity of small group dance’s choreography,but also enhance the visual impact of the picture.4.Clothing style: All team members maintain unity in the selection of clothing,the overall clothing is consistent with the characteristics of the street dance style expressed,and the choice of color is consistent with the dance style and music style.Differences in clothing among team members can continue to be enriched.5.Dance style: Each team clearly reflects 2 to 3 kinds of dances,which can be enriched in the diversity of dances.In the creation process of small group dance works,dance movements have obvious style of street dance elements,on this basis,other street dance types are incorporated to reflect different styles,which emphasizes the importance of theme and innovation in the creation of works.
