Research And Application Of Flatness Language In Oil Painting

In the long process of oil painting history,the art language has been presented in different art forms in each historical stage,among which the planar language is increasingly applied in painting because of its unique visual effect,and shows its unique artistic value.The use of planar language has enabled the creators to break through the restrictions of external forms and stop pursuing the realistic depiction of the objective world,so that the creators can break free from the constraints brought by traditional painting and make people realize the importance of the ontological language of painting and the expression of the artist’s inner feelings.In this context,this paper analyzes and discusses the characteristics of the language of flatness by extracting some of the characteristics of flatness and combining them with one’s own oil paintings.The second chapter mainly expounds the concept of flat language and the reasons for the formation of flat language.The third chapter focuses on the specific expression of planar language in paintings,and analyzes the composition,shape and color through examples.In the fourth chapter,the author analyzes from his own oil painting works and combines the characteristics of the painting expression of flatness language in the previous article.
