| International Chinese textbooks are not only the basis for Chinese teachers to prepare,teach and test,but also the tool for learners to preview,learn and consolidate.International Chinese textbooks are particularly important for learners who lack the target language environment.Therefore,it is of great significance to study international Chinese textbooks.In this paper,the author intends to compare the two sets of textbooks of New Practical Chinese Textbook and Ten Level Chinese,in order to find out the advantages and disadvantages,and on this basis,put forward suggestions for writing.This paper is divided into six parts :The first part,the introduction part,introduces the reason and significance of the topic selection-the quality of teaching materials affects the quality of international Chinese teaching,but the existing teaching materials are mixed,and there are various problems in text,vocabulary,grammar and practice.This study is conducive to improving learners’ Chinese level and enhancing teachers’ teaching ability.In the second part,the first chapter,this paper compares the writing principles and arrangement styles of New Practical Chinese Textbook and Ten Level Chinese,and finds that the former strictly implements the outline requirements and achieves the combination of structure-function-project.Some of the latter’ s project settings are too difficult and have not been gradual.It is suggested that the latter set the content of each section according to the level of Chinese learners in the primary stage from the perspective of learners.In the third part,the second chapter,the text,vocabulary,grammar and practice of New Practical Chinese Textbook and Ten Level Chinese are taken as the research objects,and the Chinese Proficiency Vocabulary and Chinese Character Grade Outline and International Chinese Teaching General Course Outline are taken as the standards.The similarities and differences between the two sets of textbooks in terms of text topics and genres,vocabulary number and grade,grammar explanation methods and number,and practice number and type are investigated.In the fourth part,the third chapter,on the basis of interviews,a questionnaire was designed to investigate the users of the two sets of textbooks,New Practical Chinese Textbook and Ten level Chinese,to investigate the feelings when using the textbooks for text,vocabulary,grammar learning and practice,and to provide support for the analysis of the shortcomings of the textbooks.The fifth part(the fourth chapter)examines the shortcomings of the two sets of textbooks in terms of text,vocabulary,grammar,and exercises,and takes this as an example to make some suggestions for the preparation of primary international Chinese textbooks.Specifically,in the text,put forward rich text topics,highlight key genres and other suggestions;in terms of vocabulary,it is suggested to appropriately increase the number of vocabulary,gradually increase the vocabulary of single course,control the difficulty level of vocabulary.In terms of grammar,it is suggested enrich the form of grammar explanation and control the number of grammar.In terms of practice,it is proposed to increase the amount of exercises and strengthen the pertinence,practicability and interest.The sixth part,the conclusion part,briefly summarizes the research object,content,research conclusion,innovation and deficiency of this paper. |
