The speech formed by the combination of consonants and vowels evolves differently in duration and synchronic with the sound change of consonants and vowels.Through the comprehensive application of traditional Tibetan grammar and modern linguistic theories,geolinguistics,historical linguistics and dialectology,this paper conducts macroscopic investigation and microscopic analysis of the vowel changes of the Amdo Regong dialect.The article is divided into four chapters,including an overview of the semi-agricultural and semi-pastoral dialects of the Amdo dialect,an overview of the vowel system of the ancient Tibetan and Regong dialects,and the phonetic factors: the variation of vowel phonemes,internal and external factors of syllables,and the types of sound changes.The main contents of each chapter are:The introduction part mainly introduces the research review and vowel change theory on this topic.The first chapter introduces the distribution area of the Amdo dialect,the main characteristics of phonetics,and the classification methods of different sub-dialects within the dialect,so as to objectively explore and explain doubts.The map notation method was applied to determine the distribution area of the Amdo dialect,semiagricultural and semi-pastoral dialects,and the phonetic characteristics of other Tibetan dialects were compared in synchronic comparison.Chapter 2 mainly introduces the comparison of the ancient Tibetan vowel system and the modern Amdo Regong dialect semi-agricultural and semi-pastoral vowel system,and the reasons and situation of the occurrence of complex vowels in the Amdo dialect.Chapter 3 summarizes the vowel inflection factors in the Amdo Regong dialect,including vowel phonemic variation and other phonetic factors.Chapter 4 uses typical exemplary vocabulary corpus to conduct microscopic exploration and macroscopic summary of vowel sound change types.Finally,the concluding part summarizes the full text and looks forward to the future.
