| On October 1,1949,when the People’s Republic of China was founded,in the seventeen years since the Cultural Revolution began in 1966,my country has composed and performed hundreds of operas, which is quite a number.Among the many opera works, the themes are diverse and the lengths vary. Many operas have become fine works of artistic creation and are still sung today. In the past seventeen years,my country’s opera has a high starting point, and the development process has been spiraling upwards.Taking the opera symposium held in1957 as the dividing line, the opera in the 17 years can be divided into two stages: 1949-1956 and 1957-1966.The first seven years were the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. With the birth of the People’s Republic of China,Chinese music entered an unprecedented new stage. This period was the preparatory period for opera creation to flourish. The next ten years were the prosperous period for the development of opera. The research found that the opera creations from 1957 to 1966 were obviously heroic. Therefore,it is of positive significance to make a comprehensive analysis of the operas created in China during this period. The main body of this paper consists of four chapters. The first chapter mainly discusses the research background and significance of this topic, the research content of domestic and foreign scholars, and the research ideas and methods. The second chapter uses the method of literature research to sort out the development of Chinese opera.Only from the historical context of Chinese opera can we fully understand and understand the concept of "Heroic Opera Era" and its social value. The analysis of the content of this chapter It provides a theoretical basis for follow-up research. The third chapter adopts the methods of case study and comparative study, taking the two works "Honghu Red Guard" and "Jiang Jie" as examples in the heroic opera era,to deeply analyze their musical characteristics, heroic characters in the play, and their representativeness. The aria is analyzed to summarize the development characteristics of the heroic opera era(1957-1966),including the changes in the way of opera creation, the heroic characters deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, and the red spirit contained in the opera. The fourth chapter, based on the above analysis, makes a list of the representative plays of the heroic opera era(1957-1966),and then elaborates on the artistic characteristics, artistic value and historical contribution of Chinese heroic operas in the20 th century,in order to explore its profound level of historical significance. |
