| Under the turbulent social background of the late Ming Dynasty,the evolution of social trends of thought led to the transformation of literary and artistic ideas.Influenced by the theories of "Wang Yangming’s mind" and "Taizhou School",calligraphers in the late Ming Dynasty were liberated of their personalities and changed their aesthetic consciousness,which also broke the long-established concept of "shape and manner" as the main discussion of learning books.In the late Ming Dynasty,the concept of copying and the method of learning from the ancients were different from those of the previous dynasties,which presented the situation of diversified thoughts and varied styles.Therefore,the late Ming Dynasty became an important turning point in the history of copying.With Wang Xianzhi’s engravings as the clue,this paper combs the copying concept of the calligraphers in the late Ming Dynasty,takes Dong Qichang,Wang Duo and Fu Shan as the representatives,examines the formation and changes of their copying concept,and explores the reasons for the emergence of the idea of "not losing the ancient tradition" in Dong Qichang.Under the ancient concept of Wang Duo "respecting Jin people and Tang people and concentrating on exploration" and Fu Shan "not being bound by the secular and having natural fun",this paper systematically analyzes the concrete practice of the three people copying Wang Xianzhi’s carving.Through the study of the late Ming Dynasty calligraphers Linwang Xianzhi’s engravings,learn from their ways and methods of learning the ancients,in order to explore the fuzziness and ambiguity of Wang Xianzhi’s engravings,which provides us with the possibility of learning Wang Xianzhi’s inscription calligraphy from different angles.We should learn the late Ming Dynasty calligraphers with unusual innovative consciousness to grasp the relationship between copying and creation,so as to gradually form their own ideas and creation of learning books.Therefore,the activity of studying the copying of calligraphers in the late Ming Dynasty can not only trigger modern people’s thinking about the concept of learning calligraphy at present,but also have important enlightenment for the author’s calligraphy practice. |
