As an emerging field of aesthetic research,the topic of environmental aesthetics mainly focuses on the cognition of environmental aesthetics or the motivation and method of environmental appreciation,and finally implements the psychological experience of environmental aesthetics.Although these problems are all related to environmental memory,the latter problem remains unclear.Combining the research results of environmental aesthetics and cognitive science,we can carry out in-depth exploration of environmental memory problems.The so-called "environmental memory" is generated and manifested in the process of environmental memory,and the process of environmental memory itself highlights the "poetic habitat" of human beings in the environment,generating the unique aesthetic meaning of environmental memory.Therefore,when the presence of "environmental memory" is constantly clarified,the aesthetic connotation of human beings constantly realizing "poetic habitat" in the environment can be fully revealed.First of all,in the face of the problems of "environmental memory",it is necessary to return to "environmental memory" as a phenomenon.The "manifestation" of environmental memory requires the help of two dimensions,"environment" and "memory",and these two dimensions have their own theoretical origins.On the one hand,"environmental memory" revolves closely around propositions about memory.In traditional Western philosophy,the logic of memory generation and the overall problem have always been closely related to the three ancient concepts of time,body and mind.The simultaneous presence of memory with time,body and mind implies a natural affinity between it and aesthetics.On the other hand,for the development of contemporary Western environmental aesthetics,the study of environmental aesthetics has not been able to bypass the attention to time,body and emotion,and these propositions have been continuously integrated into the aesthetic appreciation and aesthetic psychological experience of the environment,while the memory that is more closely related to it has been ignored in the latter discussion.Therefore,to make up for the memory gap in environmental aesthetics,the research horizon needs to return to the phenomenon of environmental memory itself,which means that we must "essentially intuitive" environmental memory,so that the concept of environmental memory is presented in a "presence" way.Second,when "environmental memory" is presented in a "presence" way in "essential intuition",various questions about "environmental memory" also appear.The problems of "environmental memory" first concern the dimension of "memory" and the "habitat" of "in the environment" through memory.As far as philosophy about memory itself is concerned,memory is distinct from history,and memory has an order in which it speaks of itself.Specifically,the order of memory acts on the process of generating memory representations,memory images,but at the same time requires the integration of emotions and contemplation.Emotions and memory appear as a kinship,and emotions,as internal motivators,help memory construct itself.This effect allows emotions to become the "preference" of memory in memory.Based on the role of memory order,the "spatiality" of "habitat" from here on constantly realizes the return to the "temporality" of this presence.At the same time,the emotional "preference" shown in memory coincides with the true logic of "poetry",as the two possible dimensions of "habitat",the emotional "preference" and "poetry" in memory together make "habitat" move towards a wider habitat.Finally,the process of environmental memory that is constantly realized in "dwelling" has its own unique aesthetic meaning.Different from contemporary Western environmental aesthetics,the aesthetic characteristics of environmental memory are no longer only manifested through the aesthetic appreciation of the environment and the aesthetic psychological experience of the environment,but in the way of returning to the living world,the meaning of beauty can bloom in the survival situation.This does not mean that the aesthetic meaning of environmental memory is completely broken with the existing way of thinking in Western environmental aesthetics,but more through the speech of memory,so that the thinking of environmental aesthetics can penetrate into the whole picture of the living world.First,for the appreciation of nature based on scientific cognition,the rethinking of environmental memory and paying attention to the process of environmental memory can make scientific cognition appear in the form of an organically generated whole in memory,so that the aesthetic appreciation of the environment presents a new dialogue between "I" and the environment,the environment and the living world,and "I" and the living world.Second,for the environmental aesthetics of the fusion of body perception,the participation of memory and memorization makes this present show the world face of the past and present,and is the continuous embodiment of the environment in "temporality".In this situation,we experience an environment in time,the perception of the present interacts with the environment through physical participation,and the memory provides the perception of the present with a constantly generated emotional throbbing,in which the aesthetic of the environment is given a different character.For "poetic dwelling",the survival theory is moving towards "poetic dwelling" through memory,which is a possibility dimension of realizing "poetry" in "dwelling".The memory generated naturally in the "dwelling" realizes the memory aesthetic of the place of "dwelling".
