Village Temple Story And Temple Fair Inheritance Of Shenggan Temple In Village Chen Jialiang,Northwest Shanxi

Temple fair is an ancient folk tradition in China,which has profound practical significance in political,economic,cultural development and other aspects.An important factor why the temple fair can be inherited from the farming era lies in the repeated narration and continuous memory of the people.The stories related to the village temple and temple fair is their daily life,but also the memory and continuation of the village life and village culture.Chen Jialiang is a village on the Loess Plateau in northwest Shanxi Province.The Kids hug fair in the village is a temple fair with the core of some family pray to the Holy Spirit to give them a kid returning wishes.The temple fair is held in Shenggan Temple on March18 of the lunar calendar every year,and the core of the ceremony is the Empress Great Hall in the Shenggan Temple.This paper focuses on the temple and the temple fair,Through literature analysis,fieldwork,and in-depth interviews,Taking the story of the village temple being told by the villagers as a clue,On the origin of the village,the change of the temple,the ceremony of seeking the child,the spiritual story,the current situation of the village folk culture and historical memory,To clarify the origin of the Niangniang Temple and the Holy Sense Temple,Exploring the role of the villagers’ intention in telling spiritual stories and their concept of blessing and evil in building the authority of the gods and maintaining the order of the village,Analyzing the significance and value of the village temple story and the historical memory for the inheritance of the village culture and the orderly development of the temple fair in the new era,From the perspective of telling the village narrative and inheriting the village memory,feasible opinions are put forward on how to promote the temple fair to maintain the living inheritance and enhance its influence.This paper is divided into three parts: introduction,main text and conclusion.The introduction part introduces the origin of the author’s writing,sorts out the academic achievements of domestic and foreign scholars on temple fair,temple fair case analysis and village narrative research,and clarifies the research purpose,research significance,research ideas,research methods and other contents of this paper.The text is divided into five chapters.The first chapter summarizes the village from five aspects: geographical location,natural resources,living characteristics,village livelihood and traditional customs.In the second chapter,by searching the literature and analyzing the village stories,the villagers explain the origin and reconstruction of the temple,and clarify the origin between the sacred temple and the Empress Temple.The third chapter explores the origin,the ceremony of the ceremony,the acquisition and control of the money,and the entertainment of the gods,and analyzes the process of the ceremony and various symbols and taboos.Through the analysis of many practical stories related to the holy temple and the fourth chapter explores the villagers’ attitudes towards fertility,their cognition of fortune and evil and the nature of the spirit.The fifth chapter analyzes the current situation of temple fair,the reasons for continuous inheritance,and the hidden worries,and believes that the sustainable inheritance of village temple fair should be promoted from the aspects of government support,public participation,and the development of folk culture industry.Conclusion part summarizes the full text,think the village temple rebuilt and temple fair held are big events in the village,related to these events about the mysterious,effective color,the villagers effective story direct purpose is to share what they saw and heard,thus have the effect of the exchange of information,exchange ideas,entertainment,in fact,the role of the story is far more than this.The intention of telling the story is to hope that the blessings and evils are the construction of the authority of the gods in the behaviors and stories,and they reinforce the dependence and belief of the people on the authority of the gods.In addition,the essence of telling effective stories is debugging and discipline.No matter whether the villagers are aware of this,the fulfillment of these stories has the premise of the promise,and also the follow-up of gratitude,which is a standard for the punishment and punishment of the villagers,which is a discipline for the daily behavior of the villagers and the daily order of the village.
