A Study On The Composition Of The Orchestral Ensemble "Festival Rhapsody"

Spring Festival has a history of more than 4,000 years.It contains profound cultural connotation and carries rich historical and cultural details.As one of the four traditional festivals in China,Spring Festival is not only a cultural phenomenon,it is a kind of cultural symbol and the embodiment of national cultural spirit.Xu Changjun is a contemporary composer of our country who is good at integrating national elements into music creation.He has been devoting himself to the creation and development of national music,he is good at refining the musical vocabulary in Chinese traditional culture and combining it with western composing techniques to create music works with Chinese national characteristics.Festival Rhapsody is an orchestral music composed by composer Xu Changjun on the theme of Chinese traditional festival“Spring Festival”,after the work was completed,it was performed in Tianjin Concert Hall and Tianjin Conservatory of Music Hall many times during the spring festival every year.The introduction part of this paper summarizes the origin of the study,research status,research purposes and significance.There are four parts in this thesis.The first part elaborates the background of the composition of Xu Changjun and the orchestra ensemble“Festival Rhapsody”.Firstly,it introduces the composer Xu Changjun,combs the composer’s creative style,and excavates the composer’s train of thought and characteristics in orchestral music creation,the third part of the work for the extraction of creative features to provide an explanation of the ideological source.The second part is the music form analysis of the work“Festival Rhapsody”,and the third part of this article together constitute the main content of the article.From the subject material analysis,pitch organization and texture form,rhythm and rhythm and structural force,the work of multiple structure analysis and orchestration ideas of the five aspects of analysis,this paper analyzes the music noumenon of“Festival Rhapsody”,excavates the connotation of the work itself,and provides the support of music material for the third part.The third part is to carry on the refinement and the detailed elaboration to the creation characteristic of the work“The festival Rhapsody”,this paper mainly analyzes the writing techniques and style features of composers from four aspects: the skillful design of percussion,the application of various structural principles,the multiple music development techniques,and the rendering power of national music language.The fourth part discusses the cultural value and the inspiration of modern and contemporary orchestral music creation of the work“Festival Rhapsody”,mainly from the cultural value and impact of the two levels of“Festival Rhapsody”,from this work,we can get a glimpse of the composer’s understanding and interpretation of Chinese culture,and provide reference and enlightenment for the creation and development of modern and contemporary orchestral music.Relying on the orchestral music“Festival Rhapsody”composed by Xu Changjun,this paper makes a multi-angle and multi-level argument for this work from the above angles,and deeply analyzes the composer’s creative techniques,to explore the composer’s creative ideas,creative ideas and creative style,in order to explain how the composer is to create folk music as their own responsibility,to combine Chinese and western composing techniques to create numerous excellent orchestral works with oriental music style,which is conducive to the promotion and dissemination of the Chinese national spirit,it has played a positive role in promoting the innovation and development of orchestral music creation.
