Research On Chen Chun’s Poetry

Chen Chun,known as Mr.Beixi,is recognized as Zhu Xi Gaozu.His achievements in inheriting and innovating Zhu Xi’s theoretical thought have attracted worldwide attention.In contrast,the literary nature of Chen Chun’s poetry is not the focus of academic research.Chen Chun’s Complete Works of Mr.Beixi contains a total of 206 Chen Chun’s poems and 276 essays of various kinds,although management ideas account for a large proportion of Chen Chun’s poetry,but his poetry collection still has literary value worth exploring.In the context of the prevalence of science,Chen Chun’s poetry creation has a profound influence,so it has certain limitations.However,Chen Chun’s poetry is not entirely a theoretical preaching in the form of poetry,but also has literary colors that are worth digging deeply,including subject matter and artistic characteristics.The scientific atmosphere of Chen Chun’s prose is relatively strong and the literary nature is relatively limited,but Chen Chun’s prose has indelible contributions to the inheritance and development of the prose genre.The main contents of this study are divided into the following four chapters.Chapter 1: Introduction to Chen Chun’s life and contacts.Through the combing and grasp of Chen Chun’s life deeds and exchanges with people of the times,we can trace back to the origin,in order to understand his life experience and ideological content more thoroughly.The author intends to divide this chapter into two parts,the first part examines Chen Chun’s personal affairs,on the basis of the existing research results,collects information as much as possible from historical books,historical notes,biographical materials,local chronicles,catalogues,poetry and other materials,and combines Chen Chun’s existing works to supplement each other,and strives to outline his true appearance as much as possible.The second part examines Chen Chun’s travels,in order to enrich his life resume in the overall context of " Zhu Xi went to Zhangzhou,and Chen Chun studied with him,and later Chen Chun lectured at Yanling to guard his division".Chapter 2: Chen Chun’s Poetry.Chen Chun’s poetry can be roughly divided into five categories: Yongwu Poems,Sentimental Poems,Yong Epics,Huairen Poems,and Li Fun Poems,and the first section focuses on the five scenery of mountains,frost and snow,plum,bamboo,and lotus to analyze Chen Chun’s Yongwu poems.The second section analyzes Chen Chun’s epic poems and appreciates their ideological connotations borrowed from ancient metaphors and modern times.The third section experiences the rich emotions expressed by Chen Chunhuairen’s poems for relatives and friends.The fourth section analyzes the largest number and richest of Chen Chun’s poems.Chapter 3: The Artistic Characteristics of Chen Chun’s Poetry.This chapter is divided into two parts.The first part focuses on the artistic characteristics of Chen Chun’s poetry,which has four creative characteristics: the use of allusions to the pre-Qin and Han dynasties,the overlapping of characters with a source to follow,the use of Tang poetry,and the brushwork of detailing the state of things.The second part focuses on the stylistic characteristics of Chen Chun’s poetry,which are mainly manifested in four aspects: fresh and natural,surprising in the plain,bold and free,and detailed material brushwork.Chapter 4: Chen Chun’s Prose Creation.Compared with Chen Chun’s poetry,Chen Chun’s prose has a very strong theoretical atmosphere.This chapter analyzes Chen Chun’s prose from the strong Taoist atmosphere,logical rigor,clear thinking,emotional writing,and Chen Chun’s literary and Taoist views.Due to the background of the development of science in the Southern Song Dynasty and Chen Chun’s status as a scholar,Chen Chun’s prose acceptance has a deep influence,but this does not mean that his prose has no literary value.Looking at Chen Chun’s prose,we can still see Chen Chun’s talent as a literary artist.Chapter 5: On the Status and Influence of Chen Chun’s Poetry.In the context of the vigorous development of science in the Southern Song Dynasty,Chen Chun was the most emotional group of many literati who wrote science poetry,and his poetry was unique in the wave of science poetry,which had positive corrective significance for the negative wind of the Jianghu poetry school;The three prose genres go hand in hand,and have also had a certain influence on the development of stylistic prose in southern Fujian.Looking at the poetry creation of the Southern Song Dynasty scholars,Chen Chun’s poetry has certain uniqueness.
