| Jin Nong was a calligrapher and painter in the Qing Dynasty,and a famous figure among the "Eight Monsters of Yangzhou".Jin Nong is quite accomplished in calligraphy,good at all scripts,among which the clerical script is his highest achievement.On this basis,he created the "lacquer script",with a thick and dignified calligraphy styles.This paper analyzes the calligraphy works and poems of Jin Nong,excavates the reasons for the formation of Jin Nong’s calligraphy style,conducts a phased study on the inheritance,discusses the style characteristics of Jin Nong’s calligraphy,and summarizes his artistic ideas and their influence on the later generations.The article mainly discusses the following four parts: The first part talks the poetry and chronology of Jin Nong’s poetry and chronology,and attributes the formation of Jin Nong’s style to the background of the times,local culture,and his three northern journeys.The second part takes the Jin Nong’s book as the starting point,sorts out and compares the plates of his works,classifies and studies according to the teacher’s inheritance and method,and explores the characteristics of his calligraphy style in different periods,from learning from the calligraphers in the Qing to tracing the origins,and finally turning the ancient into a new one,forming the calligraphy ideas of valuing the ancient,the strange and Zen art.The third part mainly studies the influence of Jin Nong on later generations,and the style of Jin Nong’s clerical script writing is very different,and the evaluation of it by later generations is mixed,so it is necessary to explore the learning path and innovation method of Xu Sangeng,Lai Chusheng,and Lai Shaoqi who learned from Jin Nong.The fourth part is based on the above research,combined with the author ’s own learning process and insights,in order to inspire the author’s creative practice.Jin Nong not only influenced the author in the idea of learning books,but also has more practical significance in terms of writing techniques,drawing on Jin Nong’s unique writing skills,structure and spacial arrangements,exploring his own learning methods from the ancients’ path,and trying to use different writing tools and materials for practical creation,which provides ideas to learn from both the ancient and modern times. |
