The development of Chinese landscape painting has a long history.Landscape painters and theorists in different periods have injected new practical cognition and theoretical cognition into the development of landscape painting.Landscape painting has continued from the embryonic stage to the independent branch and then to the prosperity.The beauty of color form shown in the picture shows different characteristics in different periods.In today’s art diversification is no exception,especially after the integration of Chinese and Western culture,there has been further development and innovation in the color expression of landscape painting and related theoretical works.Landscape painters strengthen the proportion of color in the painting in landscape creation.Some painters inherit and innovate from their own ethnic and traditional art,and some other painters combine the color in Western paintings with the color in Chinese paintings,so that the works present a different style.This paper mainly focuses on the formal beauty of landscape painting with color setting.On the basis of traditional landscape painting color setting,it breaks through and innovates,explores and combs the performance of formal beauty of landscape painting and its unique aesthetic value orientation.First of all,this paper combs out the theories related to color setting in traditional landscape painting and analyzes the development of color setting in traditional landscape painting and the transformation of aesthetic concept in different historical periods.Secondly,the diversification of the formal beauty of landscape painting is the focus of this paper.Especially in modern times,under the influence of the trend of westward learning,landscape painting has undergone a great evolution in the aspect of color setting.This paper analyzes the typical works related to the formal beauty of landscape painting.Through the nature of subject matter,the transformation of social aesthetic form,the expression of subjective consciousness of painters from sketching to creation,and the influence of western modern art and folk art,this paper tries to explore the expression rules of the formal beauty of landscape painting,and sort out the innovation points of the formal beauty of landscape painting.Through the analysis of some representative works,a deeper exploration of the development direction of contemporary landscape painting color.Finally,the author combines some of his works in the past two years,combines theoretical understanding with practice,and completes a practical paper on the formal beauty of landscape painting.
