Research On "Chronological And Annotated Complete Works Of Liu Yuxi

Annotated version study has important philological value.Note is a tool for later generations to read and understand the work of their predecessors.The ancients were fond of annotating the works of writers,but Liu Yuxi,as a representative figure in the literature of the Middle Tang Dynasty,had no ancient annotations in his works.Modern people such as Qu Tuiyuan and Tao Min are diligent in Liu Yuxi’s research and have annotated Liu Yuxi’s literary works,solving the long-standing problem of Liu Yuxi’s lack of annotated editions,and building a bridge for today’s readers to enter Liu Yuxi’s literary world.Among the contemporary collations,compiled by Tao Min and Tao Hongyu,has outstanding levels and achievements in the governance of Liu Yuxi’s Collected Works,and is a masterpiece in the collation of contemporary ancient books.This paper focuses on pottery annotation books.The paper is divided into five sections.The introduction part explains the research significance,research status,research ideas and methods of this paper.The first,second and third chapters of the text analyze the specific achievements of the pottery annotation in the collation,annotation and textual research.The first chapter pays attention to the collation research of pottery annotation books.The first section compares the collation of the Tao annotated edition with the other two refined collated editions of the contemporary Liu Yuxi anthology,Qu Tuiyuan’s "Liu Yuxi Collection Notes" and Bian Xiaoxuan’s "Liu Yuxi Collection",and summarizes the collation characteristics of each book.Compared with the other two books,the most distinctive feature of the collation is the treatment of different articles: the pottery school widely adopts the method of proofreading,and makes a large number of different articles.The second section Study and summarize the main collation results of Tao Note,which put forward suggestions on the revision of the doubt that part of Liu concentration may be mistaken but no version can be corrected.The third section focuses on the unfinished part of the collation.The second chapter focuses on the annotation research of the pottery annotation.The first section studies the annotation style and content of the pottery annotation from six aspects:meaning,name,allusions,geography,rules and regulations,culture and customs.In the second section,the notes and characteristics of the pottery notes are summarized.The third section focuses on the questionable notes in the pottery notes.The third chapter focuses on the textual research of the annotated edition of Tao.The textual research of various specific issues in Liu Yuxi’s poetry and prose is the most exciting part of the annotated edition of Tao,which is a concentrated reflection of the academic level of the editor.The first section summarizes the more than 20 names identified in the textual research of Tao Zhuben.Tang poetry and prose often address each other in the form of surnames plus official positions,and surnames plus line titles,which makes some people’s names and identities unclear.Tao’s annotated book has been extensively read in ancient books and historical materials,and more than 20 unidentified individuals in Liu Yuxi’s poetry have been identified.The second section analyzes the causes of falsification and misrecording in Liu Yuxi’s literary works from four aspects: the adjacent order of poetry and prose,the unclear style of ancient books,the similar appellation of poets,and the evolution of later generations’ names,and summarizes the results of the identification of falsification in Tao’s annotations.The third section compares the chronological opinions of the Tao annotated edition with those of other editions,identifying poems and articles that were not chronological in other editions but were chronological in the Tao annotated edition,and evaluating the different chronological opinions of the Tao annotated edition from those of other editions.The fourth section attempts to explore the parts that are not examined in the pottery annotation and that are worth discussing in the examination.The fourth chapter of the paper summarizes the significance and value of the pottery annotation at a macro level.The first section discusses the value of Tao Zhu Ben in Liu Yuxi’s literary research,the second section discusses the reference significance of Tao Zhu Ben as a model of ancient book collation for contemporary ancient book collation,and the third section summarizes the methodological significance of Tao Zhu Ben textual research from the dialectical absorption of previous achievements and the application of textual research methods of the Qianjia School.
