| The gradual development of music narrative theory,as an interdisciplinary emerging theory of music analysis,has not only expanded the field and vision of music research,but also expanded the research methods of music theory to understand the inner structure and narrative logic of music texts from multiple dimensions.As Huang Huwei’s famous violin works,"The moon over Mount Brow " and "A Lyric Song From Sailimu Lake " have distinctive characteristics of title music and elements of ethnicized language.These two works have a strong Chinese folk style,using poetic and cultural themes to reflect the artistic heritage of the works,and outlining the works as a whole through ethnic color harmonies and modulations,as well as diverse regional cultures.Huang Huwei’s internal narrative structure and narrative language have distinctive features and styles in his creation.Therefore,after paying attention to the ethnic and regional narrative logic embedded in his works,we can better perform Huang Huwei’s violin works and feel the spiritual world and artistic value in the works.In this article,we focus on“ The moon over Mount Brow ”and“ A Lyric Song From Sailimu Lake”as the objects of study in three parts: Chapter 1 provides an overview of Huang Huwei’s life and the background of the two works;Chapters 2 and 3 explore Huang Huwei’s narrative techniques through textual analysis of the two works;Chapter 4 applies musical narrative theory as a vehicle for performance and interprets the specific interpretations of the two works. |
