Under the normalization of epidemic prevention and control, prison police are facing the dual pressure of epidemic prevention and work, resulting in increasingly prominent problems such as high emotional exhaustion and low work engagement. However, most of the reserach only discusses the possible sources of work stress, the causes of emotional exhaustion, and the influencing factors of work engagement of prison officers, and lacks in-depth discussion of the relationship between the three. In addition, the research on the recovery experience and social isolation of prison police groups in domestic academia is still in its infancy. Therefore, this study attempts to explore the relationship between hinderance stress、emotional exhaustion and work engagement of prison police in the context of epidemic prevention and control,as well as the mediating role of recovery experience and the moderating role of social isolation. This article will use two sub studies to explore the above issues.Study 1 will use cross-sectional sampling to preliminarily explore the relationship between variables; On the basis of study 1,the experience sampling method was further used to explore the relationship between the variables and at the intra-individual level. In study 1,382 prison guards from J Prison were recruited for the first questionnaire, and a total of 328 valid data were collected. At the end of study 1,the recruitment of study 2 participants was carried out in the study 1 participant population.A total of 144 prison police officers were recruited and filled out daily questionnaires for two consecutive weeks(10 working days),and a total of 1,197 valid data were collected for 132 prison police officers. In this study,Study 1 and Study 2 complement each other,in which Study 1involves a large sample of participants, while Study 2 explores the relationship between variables at both intra individual and inter individual levels. Finally, all data were statistically analyzed by SPSS26.0 and Mplus8.3,and the relationship between the variables was verified. The results of this study showed that in the prison police population(1)hinderance stress negatively predicted recovery experience.(2)Recovery experience positively predicts work engagement, negatively predicts emotional exhaustion.(3)Hinderance stress predicts work engagement and emotional exhaustion through some mediating effects of recovery experience, and social isolation may play a moderating role in this process. This study finds that the recovery experience is an important link in the role of hinderance stress, and that high social isolation may exacerbate the adverse effects of hinderance stress on prison officers. At present, the epidemic prevention and control is gradually liberalized,a new development pattern is taking shape, unknown challenges and risks are also born, how to promote the judicial security in the new era of steady development, the working and living status of prison police is an important aspect, this study provides suggestions for prison police groups and prison organizations.
