| Teaching materials are the concrete embodiment of the syllabus or curriculum standards,and are an important guarantee for achieving the teaching objectives determined by the syllabus.English language knowledge is the foundation of comprehensive language,and the English language knowledge system includes phonetics,vocabulary,grammar,discourse and pragmatic knowledge.As far as primary school and junior high school are concerned,primary school English teaching is the foundation of junior high school English teaching,junior high school English teaching is the in-depth and expansion of primary school English teaching,teaching materials are the carrier of curriculum content,and it is of practical significance to study the connection of language knowledge system in primary and junior high school English teaching materials.Among the current English textbooks for primary and junior high schools,the People’s Education Press is also one of the most widely used English textbooks,and in my study and teaching practice,I take the English textbooks for primary and junior high schools as the research objects.Therefore,this study takes the English textbook for junior high school published by People’s Education Press as the research object,and hopes to serve the users of the textbook and the connecting teaching in my future teaching.This article summarizes and organizes domestic and foreign literature,and based on the latest English curriculum standard "Compulsory Education English Curriculum Standard(2022 Edition)" and linguistic theories,studies the connection of language knowledge system.The article summarizes the connection of English teaching materials in primary and middle schools at the five levels of pronunciation,vocabulary,grammar,discourse,and pragmatics,Determine whether it meets the overall requirements and grading goals of the 2022 new curriculum standards,as well as their connection with the current People’s Education Press primary and junior high school English textbooks.Finally,based on my teaching practice,analyze and propose applicable knowledge connection strategies to make the teaching connection between primary and junior high schools smoother and optimize students’ learning.This study analyzes the distribution of language knowledge in primary and middle school English textbooks from the perspective of the 2022 new curriculum goal grading,and proposes two questions: 1.whether the current primary school English textbooks used meet the requirements of the 2022 new curriculum standard in terms of language knowledge;2.Based on the latest curriculum standards in 2022,what are the outstanding and insufficient aspects of language knowledge connection in the current primary and middle school English textbooks used,and what are the negative impacts of improper connection between the People’s Education Press elementary English textbooks.After the release of the 2022 new curriculum standard,research and analysis found that the content and connection of the language knowledge system in the People’s Education Press primary and middle school English textbooks basically meet the requirements of the 2022 new curriculum standard.However,there are also some unreasonable connections in pronunciation,vocabulary,grammar,discourse,and pragmatic knowledge.For example,most of the vocabulary learned in the first semester of seventh grade overlaps with that learned in primary school,which requires us to combine with the 2022 new curriculum standard,Integrate knowledge before imparting it to students.Therefore,in response to the current problems in the connection,we should creatively use textbooks,that is,carry out secondary development of textbooks.First of all,teachers should be familiar with the 2022 compulsory education curriculum standards,and take this as a requirement to innovate on the existing textbooks.Familiar with the knowledge of textbooks,appropriate additions,deletions,adjustments and replacements,and integration of textbooks;Secondly,teachers should understand students’ interest and level in learning,and adopt effective teaching methods and means.In addition,in response to the different learning needs of English in different regions,the 2022 new curriculum standard can be used as a guiding principle to actively develop school-based textbooks. |
