A Study On The Relationship Between Family Parenting Style,Social Support,Coping Style And Test Anxiety Of Junior High School Students |  | Posted on:2024-05-01 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis |  | Country:China | Candidate:Z P Deng | Full Text:PDF |  | GTID:2555307067965249 | Subject:Applied psychology |  | Abstract/Summary: |  PDF Full Text Request |  | At present,the phenomenon of exam anxiety among junior high school students in China is widespread,and the problem of test anxiety will affect the mental health development of junior high school students.In addition,junior high school students are in adolescence and their physical and mental development is not mature enough.Therefore,alleviating the anxiety of junior high school students and paying attention to the mental health problems of junior high school students is very important for their healthy growth.This study explored the relationship between four variables: family parenting style,social support,coping style,and test anxiety.A total of 982 junior high school students were surveyed using the Simplified Parenting Style Questionnaire,the Sarason Test Anxiety Scale,the Adolescent Social Support Scale and the Secondary School Coping Style Questionnaire.The scores of family parenting style,social support,coping style and test anxiety of junior high school students were analyzed,and the difference test was tested by demographic variables,and the correlation analysis,regression analysis and mediation effect analysis were analyzed by statistical software.1.The problem of test anxiety among junior high school students is more serious,and the phenomenon of test anxiety is widely present in the current group of junior high school students.2.There were significant differences in demographic variables among junior high school students’ family parenting styles,test anxiety,social support,and coping styles.3.The four variables of test anxiety,mother’s rejection parenting style,social support,and emotional coping style of junior high school students were correlated.4.Junior high school students’ mother’s rejective family parenting style,social support,and directed emotional coping style had significant predictive effects on test anxiety.5.Social support for junior high school students plays a part-mediating role between mothers’ rejective parenting styles and test anxiety.6.Junior high school students pointed to emotional coping styles playing a partial mediating role between mothers’ rejective parenting styles and test anxiety.7.Social support and directed emotional coping style act as a chain mediator between mothers’ rejective parenting styles and test anxiety. |  | Keywords/Search Tags: | Test anxiety, Family parenting style, Coping strategies, Junior high school student, Social support |   PDF Full Text Request |  Related items  |
