Water-based material painting can break the barrier of art concept and technology.This paper chooses the practice and exploration of water-based materials painting in personal Chinese painting creation as the main research line,aiming to explore its internal logic and scope boundary by studying the concept,history,development status and formal language of water-based materials,explore the methods,paths and artistic implications of water-based materials painting techniques innovation,and promote personal art practice.Then,it discusses how artists transform and express the spiritual connotation of painting in the process of creation,and thinks about the relationship between artistic concept,painting materials and times.This paper is divided into four parts: the first part introduces the background,development trend and characteristics of water-based materials;The second part introduces the painting works of representative painter cases and analyzes the artist’s artistic style and creation concept.The third part describes the water-based materials in Chinese painting in many forms;The fourth part mainly narrate the graduation creation,expounds the personal creation ideas and the artistic expression form of the works,discusses the water-based material as the medium to the Chinese painting form language and expression form related exploration and practical enlightenment.Through the analysis of the practice of water-based materials in the creation of Chinese painting,the comprehensive and cross-domain characteristics of water-based materials painting are considered,and the relevant works of representative painters are analyzed to explore the new art form and cultural connotation expressed in contemporary Chinese painting.
