Material Characteristics Of Deadwood And Its Creation In Rural Sculpture Practice Research

Material with various stages of human history,material as a medium to build and inheriting the human civilization,in the sculpture art,choose the material is the artist to think,the artistic language of sculpture must use the shape of material form to express,sculpture art is essentially a variety of material materialized spirit products,its charm not only from the beauty of creative form,more from the beauty of the material itself.Dead wood,refers to the withered and decayed wood in nature,is a more common waste material in rural areas.The ancients said: rotten wood can not be carved also.In fact,in the four seasons of spring,summer,autumn and winter,deadwood experiences the wind and rain,the sun and rain,but still maintains the beauty of vigor and simplicity,with rich visual aesthetic characteristics and aesthetic emotion.Based on the creation of rural sculpture,this paper takes the common waste materials in rural areas as the research object.By studying the influence of sculpture materials on sculpture works,it considers the relationship between art forms and materials,and studies and discusses the material characteristics and ecological value of rotten wood as sculpture materials.On this basis,we explore the practical methods of creating rotten wood sculpture in rural areas,explore the utilization value of rotten wood in rural public landscape sculpture,and create sculpture works that can show the rural appearance,inherit the regional culture and maintain the local emotion,so as to provide new ideas for the development of rural characteristics.No matter from the functional perspective of sculpture art or from the natural ecological characteristics of the rotten wood materials themselves,they all have certain aesthetic value,spiritual value and social value.
