Study On The Creative Practice Of Shaoguan Pastoral Landscape Series Oil Paintings

Landscape is one of the important themes of oil painting and creation.In the early Western oil painting,the landscape only appeared in the theme painting or portrait painting in the way of background or embellishment.The rise of Dutch landscape painting in the 17 th century marked the maturity and independent division of oil painting landscape.By the 19 th century,under the influence of French Barbizon painting school and impression painting school,excellent paintings with landscape as the theme came out one after another,showing a scene of competing for beauty.At the beginning of the 20 th century,there was a trend of thought of modernist painting in Europe,and many painting schools emerged at one time.The development of landscape painting showed the characteristics of diversification.Today,oil painting activities with the theme of landscape are in the ascendant,showing a prosperous scene.The author chooses Shaoguan rural landscape as the theme of painting creation,which is mainly based on the following reasons: first,the scene synthesized by Shaoguan rural natural landscape and human history has attracted the author’s attention;The second is to explore how to use the language of oil painting to express the regional style of Shaoguan;Third,taking landscape painting as the starting point,practice and study the language and techniques of oil painting;The fourth is to express the author’s Thoughts on the impact and reform of the traditional rural social production relations in the process of social urbanization.Based on the creation,this paper explains the author’s practical exploration and theoretical research in the creation of pastoral landscape series paintings from three parts: "creation source","process and method" and "reflection and prospect"...
