| The compilation of reading is rooted in a certain cultural background.Influenced and shaped by Chinese culture,the text selected by the editor in the process of writing reflects the mainstream values,customs and certain social expectations.The cultural values reflected in the text are also important goals of cultural communication.The thesis takes Reading China and Chinese Reading for Practical Purposes as the research object,and analyzes the cultural content of the readings according to relevant standards.Firstly,under the guidance of the The Reference Frame for Teaching Chinese Culture and National Conditions in International Chinese Language Education,the thesis makes a statistical explanation on the number and category of cultural factors.It is found that the cultural factors of the two books are not balanced,and the verbal communication culture and non-verbal communication culture in social life take a small proportion.Secondly,the thesis evaluates the readings from the perspective of whether the selection of cultural factors follows the principles of representativeness,interest,comparability and practicability,as well as the integration of cultural factors in the four parts of text,vocabulary,exercise and illustration.The reading material contains many traditional Chinese art forms and traditional virtues,which promote the positive energy of society.It selects a variety of cultures covering traditional culture,social life and contemporary China,with diverse topics and interesting content.At the same time,the readings also carry on the horizontal comparison of different regional cultures in China,the vertical comparison of ancient and modern Chinese culture and the comparison of Chinese and foreign culture,showing the cultural differences and diversity.In addition,based on the actual needs of foreign learners,the readings select many cultural factors to show the contemporary Chinese life form,but some of the cultural factors are not close to the reality and do not keep pace with The Times.Finally,the readings pay more attention to the integration of cultural elements through texts,vocabulary,exercises,illustrations and other forms,which strengthens the presentation effect of cultural factors,but also shows that the proportion of new words is relatively low,the practice form is single and lack of contrast,the number of illustrations is insufficient and inconsistent with the content.Based on the above research,combined with the interview of readers and the questionnaire analysis of Chinese learners’ interest in Chinese culture,this thesis puts forward suggestions from two aspects of the selection and integration of cultural factors:Firstly,in the selection of cultural factors,we should pay attention to increasing the topic selection of modern communicative culture and vocational culture;Embody the diachronic change of culture;Enhance the interest of content and demand based on cognitive level;Highlight common culture,pay attention to two-way exchange of cultural.Sencondly,on the integration of cultural factors,we should pay attention to updating cultural vocabulary in time;Focus on increasing cultural contrast exercises;Note that the illustrations are moderate in number and closely related to cultural themes;Focus on strengthening the network resource adhesion. |
