Archaeology Of The Yangshao Period Settlements In The Middle And Lower Reaches Of The Jing River

The middle and lower reaches of the Jing River are located in the north-western part of Guanzhong and are connected to the eastern part of Gansu.As a relatively independent geographical unit,it is rich in natural resources,with mountains in the north and plains in the south,making it a good choice for the location of settlements.At the same time,as part of the central distribution area of the Yangshao culture,this region has strong cultural continuity,and the accumulation of archaeological data in recent years has increased the feasibility of systematically studying the remains of the Yangshao culture in the middle and lower reaches of the Jing River.Through a systematic analysis of the archaeological remains of the Yangshao cultural period in the middle and lower reaches of the Jing River,this paper uses stratigraphic and typological archaeological research methods to divide it into three phases and six sections,to establish a preliminary cultural genealogy of the Yangshao cultural period in the middle and lower reaches of the Jing River,and to clarify that the cultural connotations of the region are dominated by the typical Yangshao culture of the Guanzhong region.The cultural connotations of the Yangshao culture in the middle and lower reaches of the Jing River region are clearly defined as being typical of the Guanzhong region.The development of the social structure behind the changes in settlement patterns in the middle and lower reaches of the Jinghe River during the various periods of the Yangshao culture is investigated;the cluster patterns of the different periods are analysed,and the development curve of the Yangshao culture in terms of the number of settlements and the size of settlements in the region is found to be "rising first and then falling".This paper is divided into the following sections.The paper is divided into the following sections.Introduction.This paper defines the temporal and spatial scope of the study.This paper is divided into the following sections: Introduction.Introduction to the significance of the selection of this paper,the writing ideas and the research methodology.Chapter 1.A systematic review of archaeological investigations and excavations in the middle and lower reaches of the Jing River involving the Yangshao culture period,summarising the gains of previous archaeological work.Chapter 2.Stages the archaeological cultural remains of the Yangshao Cultural Period in the middle and lower reaches of the Jing River.Through an overview of typical sites within the study area that are rich in material and those that have been investigated in the region,the connotations of the cultural remains of each site are discussed and analysed,and a preliminary sequence of cultural development in the region is constructed.Chapter 3.Analysis of settlement patterns in the middle and lower reaches of the Jing River.Based on the constituent units of the settlements and the internal structure of the settlements in the region in each period,the characteristics of the settlement patterns in each period and the development patterns are summarised,and the internal patterns of the settlements are analysed chronologically to explore the development and changes in social organisation in different periods.Chapter 4.Analysis of the cluster pattern of settlements in the middle and lower reaches of the Jing River.Based on the number and distribution of settlements,their scale and hierarchy in the region,the characteristics of their agglomeration patterns and their development patterns are summarised,and an analysis of the agglomeration patterns is carried out over time to explore the development and changes in the hierarchical structure of settlements in different periods.Conclusion.Summarises the main content of this paper and concludes the whole text.
