The Relationship Between China’s Urbanization Process And Contemporary Urban Theme Painting

Rapid,fluid,intensive and diversified urbanization is a significant feature of the development of the 20 th century.With the intensification of urbanization in China,great changes have taken place in culture,economy and the relationship between man and nature.City is a concentrated embodiment of architecture,design,planning and aesthetics,and also an important place for social life,activities,culture and economy.Therefore,the process of urbanization is an important theme and source of inspiration for painting art.Urban paintings record the appearance of cities in different periods,but also the attention to individual life and the discussion of human existence.The urban theme painting has the characteristics of The Times and humanistic significance.It has become an indispensable part of the development of Chinese contemporary oil painting.This means that the process of urbanization has a great degree of correlation with urban theme painting art.Based on the correlation between China’s urbanization process and contemporary urban theme painting art,this paper explores the situation and new appearance of urban theme painting art in the pluralistic context of contemporary art.This paper will be discussed from five aspects: the first part is the introduction,which introduces the purpose and significance of the research,the feasibility of this topic and the review of relevant research status,research ideas and methods,research difficulties and innovation points.The second part is the overview of China’s urbanization process,which mainly combs the origin of cities under the urbanization process and the status quo and development form of China’s urbanization process.The third part of the origin and development of contemporary urban theme painting,respectively from foreign and domestic two directions of urban theme painting evolution and analysis of related artists and works.The fourth part studies the correlation between China’s urbanization process and contemporary urban theme painting.Firstly,it analyzes how China’s urbanization process affects the development trend of contemporary urban theme painting,and further makes a case study of artists and paintings depicting urban theme.Secondly,it studies the value and significance of urban theme painting in the contemporary situation of cross-media and image visual diversification.Finally,the prospect of contemporary urban theme painting art.The fifth part is the conclusion of this paper.
