At the end of the 20th century,the development of Internet technology,digital technology,and electronic media gave birth to a new type of space-time-"Cyberspace",which has had an immeasurable impact on human social and cultural life.It has changed the way subjects interact and communicate in society,and has also prompted profound changes and transformations in the field of aesthetics.The new aesthetic paradigm impacts the traditional artistic aesthetic relationship and fundamentally reconstructed the experience and cognition of the aesthetic subject.Centering on cyberspace,mankind has entered a new cultural era.It can be said that cyberspace,which is constructed by technologies such as the World Wide Web,IT(information technology),ICT(information and communication technology),and VR(virtual reality technology),has become the ontological living environment of mankind.The discussion with cyberspace as the background provides us with new directions and ideas to further explore the development status of aesthetic culture,It also has important practical significance and value for us to better understand the relationship between aesthetic subjects and contemporary media technology.The article discusses the following five aspects from the two key points of cyberspace and aesthetic subject.The first chapter of the thesis introduces the concept and characteristics of cyberspace,and introduces cyber art,interactive art,and other types of cyberspace art.On this basis,it proposes the aesthetic subject in cyberspace.The second chapter of the thesis explains the survival turn of the aesthetic subject in cyberspace.Under the tide of science and technology,the aesthetic subject has broken through traditional space and gradually migrated to cyberspace with interactivity,transcendence of time and space,and virtual reality,greatly extending the subject’s communication organs and nervous system.As a result,the subject has integrated with the media,becoming a cyberspace subject closely connected to the media.The third chapter discusses the dual body schema of the aesthetic subject in cyberspace.The compatibility of the Internet and the interactivity of new media have made the public increasingly dependent on the virtual world,changing their aesthetic habits and pursuits under the influence of digitization.On the one hand,through the transmission,reorganization,and transformation of information symbols,the aesthetic subject has become a disembodied binary code composed of "0" and "1",in which the subject appears absent but actually roams;On the other hand,with the help of intelligent tools,aesthetic subjects deeply integrate with virtual reality space,participate in and obtain ascending dimensional spatial immersion,behavioral immersion,and emotional immersion through physical participation.The fourth chapter discusses the two-way gaze relationship of aesthetic subjects in cyberspace.The aesthetic subject gallops through cyberspace with multiple virtual avatars.The "Thousand Mile Eye" and "Follow the Wind Ear" give the public a godlike perspective,but they also inevitably fall into the digital cage of "Panoramic Open Vision" and reshape themselves in the eyes of others,thereby providing a certain discipline for the game mentality of entertainment and carnival,and returning artistic affordability.The fifth chapter analyzes the thinking triggered by cyberspace.As a pioneering change in the intermediary system of human society,the "artificial world" created by Cyberspace has integrated and restructured traditional values and aesthetic methods,promoting the formation of a new survival pattern,but also bringing some contradictions and problems,such as the elimination of traditional artistic aesthetics by Cyberspace,and the threat posed to humanity by the rapid development of artificial intelligence.In general,cyberspace is not just a synonym for "online space".In the digital era,it has brought more complex impacts.While obtaining new aesthetic experiences,aesthetic subjects are also facing many aesthetic challenges.
