Research On The System Of Yunyang Governor In Ming Dynasty(1476-1620)

At the end of the twelfth year of Chenghua in the Ming Dynasty,in order to solve the disturbing insurrection of refugees,the imperial court adopted the suggestion of Jingxiang censor Yuanjie,and established some new cities and Huguang hsing tu-ssu in the core area of the Qinba Mountains,then ordered Wu Daohong went back these places and helped the refugees,thus began the history of Yunyang governor.It’s not a single governor,but a combination of multiple local state and county administrative systems and the military system of the Wei-suo after adjustment,this article calls it the system of Yunyang governor.The establishment of the Yunyang governor system greatly changed the administrative structure of the Qinba Mountains since the early Ming Dynasty,and shifted the political center in Northwest Hubei.It’s a historical clue of political interaction and order construction in the border areas of Hubei、Henan、Sichuan and Shaanxi provinces,and it is also a window for insight into local administration in the middle and late Ming Dynasty.This article is divided into four chapters,by discussing the emergence process,internal structure,operation behavior,and adjustment and changes of the Yunyang governor system in detail,it reveals the central and local government,local and local government,civil officials and eunuchs,Confucian scholars and soldiers are inseparably intertwined and take place complicated political interaction and interest contradiction in the actual political operation process of the Yunyang governor system.
