| Emotional labor was originally a concept proposed by Hochschild to study the emotional process of service personnel.In the 1990 s,Hargreaves introduced emotional labor into the profession of teachers,and since then began to study the emotional labor of teachers.In recent years,the number and trend of research on teachers’ emotional labor on CNKI have gradually increased,but most of them focus on the emotional labor research of primary and secondary school teachers and other working objects,and there is little research on the emotional labor of teachers in the field of international Chinese education.However,due to the different teaching objects,international novice Chinese teachers are prone to psychological fatigue and job burnout,and emotional problems,which affect the choice of Chinese occupation.Therefore,this study adopts quantitative and qualitative research to explore the influencing factors and optimization strategies of emotional labor of international new Chinese teachers,in order to help international Chinese teachers to conduct reasonable emotional labor and improve the quality of emotional labor.This thesis is mainly divided into the following several sections:The first chapter is an introduction.It is primarily expounded in this thesis,the research background,research significance,the research method and the theoretical basis,and introduces the content that is the basis of this research.The second chapter is the summary of the research status of emotional labor and the review of the literature.It mainly comments on the related research of emotional labor,teachers’ emotional labor and the international emotional labor research of Chinese teachers.The third chapter is about the study design.The main content of the research subject is explained from four aspects: research object,research purpose,research question and research framework.Lay the foundation for the follow-up research.The fourth chapter is the emotional labor questionnaire survey and analysis of international novice Chinese teachers.This part mainly uses SPSS 26 software analysis to obtain the reliability test and validity test of the questionnaire survey.Based on this,the data analysis obtained the conclusion that the international novice Chinese teachers,like other domestic teachers,also belong to a group of high emotional labor,and there are significant differences in the emotional labor level in terms of gender,educational background,personality and teaching area.The fifth chapter is the investigation and analysis of the influencing factors of emotional labor of international novice Chinese teachers.On the basis of the questionnaire,the interview objects were selected accordingly.Through the qualitative analysis of NVivo 12.0 software,with the help of the reasons behind the emotional labor of novice teachers,and finally find that four factors such as multiple management factors,complex environment,diversified students and individual teachers will affect the emotional labor of novice teachers.The sixth chapter is to discuss the optimization strategies of the emotional labor of international novice Chinese teachers.This paper proposes the optimization strategy of emotional labor from the individual and social level.Finally,there is the conclusion part.It is mainly to summarize and outline this thesis,and reflect on the shortcomings in the research,and put forward the prospect for the future research of international novice Chinese teachers’ emotional labor.The study found that,like other Chinese teachers,international novice Chinese teachers are also high emotional workers,with significant differences in emotional labor level in terms of gender,education,personality and teaching area.There are many factors affecting the emotional labor of international novice Chinese teachers,which can be summarized into multiple management factors,complex environment,and diversified factors of individual students and teachers.In view of the problem of high-level emotional labor,novice teachers of international Chinese need not only strong psychological quality and rich knowledge,but also need to receive external support and help. |
