Lens Language And Documentary Authenticity Expression

The documentary "Square Inch World" is a character documentary.The film faithfully records the living situation of a disabled artist.The hero lives with his 87-yearold mother and takes care of each other.He spends his time by writing flowers,birds,calligraphy and painting,which shows his dedication to his family and his optimistic spirit.It reflects the optimistic and open-mind minded spirit of the hero.To ease young people’s anxiety about retirement.Based on the creation practice of the documentary "Square Inch World",this paper summarizes the reflection of the pursuit of authenticity in the lens language in the documentary creation,and explores the influence of lens language on the presentation of documentary authenticity from three aspects: picture language,sound language and montage.The use of real environmental light,large field narration to present the original appearance of real life;The use of simultaneous sound to ensure the sense of sound space is more in line with the documentary pursuit of documentary;Dialect is more likely to express the true emotions of characters;The first-person monologue replacing the thirdperson commentary is more authentic and credible.The reasonable use of lens language can not only ensure the authenticity of the documentary but also enhance the watchability of the work.On the basis of ensuring authenticity,documentary communication content can meet the aesthetic habits of current viewers and meet their aesthetic needs.
