Research On The Path Of Integrating Chinese Important Traditional Festival Culture Into College Students’ Ideological And Political Education

The "Implementation Outline of Patriotism Education in the New Era" issued by the CPC Central Committee and the State Council pointed out that it is necessary to give play to the educational function of traditional and modern festivals,vigorously implement the revitalization project of Chinese traditional festivals,deepen the theme activities of "Our Festival",and use important traditional festivals such as the Spring Festival,Lantern Festival,Dragon Boat Festival,Chongyang and other important traditional festivals to carry out celebrations and guide people to understand traditional culture and enhance the feelings of home and country.Combining China’s important traditional festival culture with the ideological and political education of college students and giving full play to the value and function of traditional festival culture is a realistic choice for strengthening ideological and political education in the new era.Based on the literature combing of China’s important traditional festival culture,the origin of the formation of traditional festivals can be divided into four aspects:myths and legends,calendar solar terms,customs taboos,primitive worship,etc.Traditional festival culture contains rich value implications,that is,the ethical concept of respecting ancestors and filial piety,the value concept of respecting nature,and the spiritual concept of patriotic feelings.It also analyzes the ideological and political education functions of China’s important traditional festival culture,namely the valueoriented function,cultural inheritance function,moral education function,edutainment function and cohesion and integration function,which has important guiding significance for enriching the ideological and political education resources of college students.However,through questionnaire survey,the current situation of the integration of important traditional festival culture into the ideological and political education of college students was analyzed,and the data were collated to find that there were problems in the integration of the two,that is,the integration content lacked innovation,the process lacked coordination,the form was relatively single,and the effect needed to be improved.At the same time,there are many reasons for the shortcomings,mainly manifested in the impact and challenge of foreign culture,insufficient publicity and guidance of traditional festival culture among various subjects,lack of creative transformation of traditional festival culture itself,and low awareness of Chinese traditional festival culture among college students,etc.,and it is urgent to solve such problems,so as to promote traditional festival culture to give full play to the function of ideological and political education.Finally,based on reality,it is mainly to improve the educational content and enhance the attractiveness of festival culture;Cooperate with education subjects to strengthen festival culture education;Enriching educational carriers,enhancing the dissemination of festival culture as the direction,and then exploring the path of integrating traditional festival culture into the ideological and political education of college students,and giving play to the educational function of festival culture in colleges and universities,is also the urgent task of ideological and political educators at present.
