Research And Practice Of Color Elements In The Creation Of Contemporary Sculpture

With the continuous development of the times,sculpture art has gradually shown a diversified development trend.The use of color in sculpture has become no longer monolithic,and more and more artists are realizing that color can give new life to sculptural works.Especially in contemporary sculpture,color elements have become more and more important,and the relationship between the modeling space and color has become more and more close.Obviously,color can provide more ways and means for future sculpture creation.However,the current research on the application of color in sculpture is more from the perspective of emotional expression,and rarely explores the influence of color on the shape of sculpture.Based on this,this thesis first discusses the research status of color application in sculpture and analyzes its research value and significance.Secondly,the application forms and application characteristics of color in sculpture creation are sorted out and delineated,and then studied from the three dimensions of distance,balance and space,and the relationship between the visual expression of color and the shape of sculpture is discussed.Finally,starting from the aspects of color,shape and space,it is used to guide the artistic practice of the "Story" series of works in sculpture.Taking its own artistic creation as an example,on the basis of the three-dimensional modeling of sculpture,the two-dimensional and three-dimensional expression methods are combined,giving full play to the appeal of color,in order to explore the characteristics and advantages of the combination of color and sculpture in sculpture creation.This thesis mainly analyzes and explores the relationship between the use of color in sculpture,the visual expression of color and the spatial display of sculpture through the combination of theoretical research and creative practice.Trying to explore the close relationship between form and color in sculpture,so that sculptors can make better use of the element of color to achieve the harmony and unity of form and color.
