Study On The Writing Of "From Backwardness To Transformation" In People’s Literature(1949-1966)

People’s Literature,which was founded on October 25,1949,is the highest literary publication after the founding of the People’s Republic of China.It has a clear orientation and lofty mission,and it is of great academic significance to study it.This paper takes the prominent literary writing mode " from backwardness to transformation " in the People’s Literature(1949—1966)as the research object,trying to show the content of social change contained in the writing of " from backwardness to transformation ",the implied literary norms,and the deep relationship between the People’s Literature as the national literary media and this writing mode.The introduction of this paper explains the origin of the topic,sorts out related concepts and research status.The text is divided into four chapters: the first chapter summarizes the specific concept types of the content of " from backwardness to transformation " in the People’s Literature(1949 — 1966),including public and private concept,labor concept,production concept,learning concept and struggle consciousness.The second chapter explores the reasons why the writing mode of "from backwardness to transformation " of People’s Literature is favored by journals from both internal and external aspects.The writing mode of " from backwardness to transformation " is not only the result of the writing standard of socialist realism,but also closely related to the idea requirement of the journal to take education as the literary purpose,the literary concept and creative practice of the editors.The third chapter analyzes the deviant phenomenon caused by the contradiction between political norms and literary self-discipline in the writing of "from backwardness to transformation " in People’s Literature,including the "illegal" transformation of the identity of the subject,the "incomplete" transformation,the dynamic error of transformation,the expression of daily life,and the reflection and criticism of realistic problems in the objective effect.The fourth chapter discusses the meaning and limitation of " from backwardness to transformation " in People’s Literature on the basis of the previous discussion.The writing of " from backwardness to transformation " in People’s Literature comprehensively reflects the great social changes during the construction of the Republic,practices the direction of "People’s Literature" and plays a good guiding role for readers.But at the same time,there are obvious defects of formulaic and conceptualization,which filter and dissolve the richness and complexity of real life to a certain extent.
