| Currently,there is still an imbalance in the development of education between urban and rural areas,with a particularly prominent phenomenon in the teaching and learning of English listening and speaking in junior high schools.In the process of promoting the digitization of education,utilizing digital network platforms to achieve educational technology and resource sharing has become an effective measure to rapidly improve teaching quality in urban and rural areas.This article explores a new path for English teaching reform through the intelligent learning platform represented by Ekwing,effectively reducing the burden on teachers,promoting the transformation of English teaching models from traditional to information and scientific,and promoting the balanced development of English education in urban and rural areas of junior high school.This article analyzed how intelligent learning platforms support the teaching mode of English listening and speaking in urban and rural junior high school by comprehensively understanding the current situation of English teaching in urban and rural junior high schools.This article adopted quasi-experimental research,questionnaire survey,interview,statistical analysis,and literature research methods,based on second language acquisition theory,output oriented method,and constructivist learning theory,and focused on analyzing the relevant theories and core concepts of English listening and speaking teaching in junior high schools.Meanwhile,this article provided a detailed explanation of the supporting functions of Ekwing intelligent learning assistance platform in English listening and speaking teaching,analyzed its supporting methods,and provided a framework and reference for the design of blended English listening and speaking teaching process.The experimental subjects were Class 5 of Grade 2 in Township X Middle School and Class 8 of Grade 2 in City Y Middle School in Weifang,Shandong,and designed corresponding blended English teaching plans.The experimental class adopted a blended listening and speaking teaching mode based on an intelligent learning platform,while the control class adopted a traditional teaching mode.And evaluated the practical application effect of Ekwing intelligent learning assistance platform by analyzing the behavioral data of English listening and speaking abilities of experimental class students.The experimental results show that the junior high school English listening and speaking teaching mode based on the Ekwing intelligent learning assistance platform has changed students’ attitudes towards English listening and speaking learning,and the listening and speaking abilities of middle and downstream students have been significantly improved,resulting in an improvement in students’ English listening and speaking abilities,which reflects the significant advantages of the application of Ekwing intelligent learning assistance platform.In traditional English listening and speaking teaching,students’ enthusiasm and participation are relatively low.After applying Ekwing intelligent learning assistance platform,it promoted interaction between teachers and students,as well as among students,and enriched English listening and speaking teaching resources in rural junior high schools,stimulated students’ interest in learning,enhanced students’ learning initiative and participation,and significantly improved teaching effectiveness.Based on research,proposed a junior high school English listening and speaking teaching model and implementation strategies based on Ekwing intelligent learning assistance platform,providing useful references for further improving the junior high school English listening and speaking teaching model,which is conducive to improving the quality of junior high school English listening and speaking teaching at the same time,promoting the balanced development of urban and rural English teaching,and making junior high school English listening and speaking teaching more closely integrated with information technology teaching and the construction of urban and rural education integration. |
