As Wolf’s early work,"Six Songs for Female Voice" highlighted his early artistic song creation style. At that time,Wolffs creation style also tended to imitate Schubert Schumann’s artistic song creation. In terms of poetry selection,he also tried to select poetry collections selected by his predecessors, and conducted a richer technical research on this. The vocal divertimento”Six Songs for Female Voice”is composed of six songs, including "Morning Dew""Birds" "Textile Girl" "Summer lullaby""Winter lullaby" and "Warning of the Rat Trap." This divertimento was published in 1887 in "Sechs Lieder fur ine Frauenstimme".The six songs seem to tell the story of a young girl’s life, from playing in childhood to having her own thoughts, and then to the tenderness and impatience after having children."The Warning of the Rat Trap"even has a comical pretense when playing with children. The six songs are short and concise, with beautiful and elegant styles. The lyrics used in the songs are all derived from poetry. This article will analyze the music characteristics from the background and song background of composer Wolff to the mode, tonality, and harmony accompaniment of the music itself,in order to have a more authentic and profound expression of the work when singing. The article will focus on the problems and feelings encountered by the author during singing, including the mastery of the musical style, the portrayal of the musical image, and the positioning of the role of"Six Songs for Female Voice" during singing,so that the author can accurately express the emotions of the six songs during singing.
